The Saramonic G-Mic is an external microphone that you can simply connect to the USB socket of a GoPro Hero3 3+ or 4. The microphone will record stereo sound and has better quality output than the built-in microphone of the GoPro camera. The included detachable wind sleeve can prevent wind noise during outdoor recording. The G-Mic requires no batteries. When using GoPro's Wi-Fi feature, this may cause a malfunction in the sound. The reason for this is that the mic-capsule is positioned very near the Wi-Fi chip. When you use Wi-Fi  to connect the GoPro to your smartphone, we recommend the BY-LM20 (see optional accessories).

The Saramonic G-Mic is ideal for recordings of concerts, interviews and (motor)sport where sound is as important as the image.
