The SR-VRM1 from Saramonic is a compact sound recorder with female XLR connection. You can connect a microphone of your choice, after which the SR-VRM1 records the sound on a Micro-SD card (not included, max. 32GB). It is also possible to connect headphones, to listen to the sound live or afterwards. The metal housing provides extra reliability.

The sound is recorded in 24 bit and 48kHz, as a WAV file. Optionally, 48+ volt phantom power can be switched on for condenser microphones. Alternatively, a low-cut filter can be switched on to filter out low frequencies. The SR-VRM1 works on 2 AA batteries (not included) and lasts up to 8 hours on one battery charge.
